There is a huge amount of medical evidence that a diet rich in fruits and vegetables is associated with better health and well-being.
No-one doubts that few in our society achieve a diet with optimal levels of fruit and vegetable content.
There is another huge amount of evidence that multivitamin supplements do not confer the benefits of a rich fruit/vegetable diet.
So there must be compounds in fruit and vegetables that are important for health but do not find their way into multivitamins.
So, if we realise that, despite the best of intentions and efforts of all who are charged with the role of educating the public about nutrition, some or even many people are still not going to eat all the vegetables they should, then we have to look for a nutritional supplement that will approximate the content of fruits and vegetables as closely as possible.
That's the one we use.
Ask us about it in the practice.
