I had been freckle-faced all my life, and I didn't think there was anything I could do about them (at least, nothing I would contemplate).

During the treatments I could feel the freckles heating. Then the freckles would darken but I didn't have to take any time off work; I just looked a bit frecklier for week.

Then the freckles would just flake away from my skin. The first treatment cleared most of them, but we did a second treatment a month or so later.

Two full face IPL treatments for $390 each cleared all of my facial freckles aside from a few around my eyes (these had been covered by the eye protection I wore). Then a further Iriderm laser treatment to the skin around my eyes, and I was free of freckles!

Of course, if I now spend a lot of time in the sun it's likely I would develop freckles again. But I had taken a lifetime to develop my old freckles, and I'm not going to let my skin get that sun-damaged again.
